Harris Free Church is a congregation of the Free Church of Scotland serving the island community of South Harris in the Western Isles, as it has done during its more than 150 year history. Based in the village of Leverburgh in South Harris we seek to bring the Gospel of Christ to bear in the lives of men, women, boys and girls.
We are a Reformed, Evangelical and Presbyterian church and proclaim the timeless truths of the Gospel of Christ. A summary of our doctrine can be found in the Westminster Confession of Faith which is the doctrinal standard for our denomination.
