What to expect at our Services

Lord’s Day Services:

We believe that the ‘word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart,’ (Hebrews 4:12) and therefore the more we are exposed to God’s Word the better.

We believe that the Word of God should be at the centre of our worship services. We read the Word, we preach the Word and we sing the Word. Our singing is from the Psalms, mainly in English though we also include a Gaelic Psalm at our noon service.

The Sunday school meets during the midday service. The children come into the church with their families and they sit in for the first singing and prayer and then the minister gives a short talk to the children before they then leave the service and go to their respective classes.

Midweek Prayer and Bible Study:

The midweek meeting meets in our Church Hall where we worship God in a similar way as our Lord’s day services, the only difference being that the minister will ask a number of the men to lead in prayer. Everyone is welcome to these meetings. It is great to gather together during the week for a time of worship, fellowship and sharing one another’s burdens as we come together in prayer.
